COVID-19 UPDATE

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME APPEALS ARE SUSPENDED FOR THE TIME BEING DUE TO COVID 19 UNLESS FEATURED BELOW.
IN THE MEAN TIME, WE WOULD ADVISE STORING ITEMS OR DISTRIBUTING THE RELEVANT ITEMS TO THE APPEALS BELOW.

We’ve all found ourselves in a very different, scary world out there at the moment! Knitting, Crocheting & Sewing are the perfect escape at the moment for anyone self isolating.

We have decided to put a pause on most of the current appeals on our page, and ask everyone to store their knitting until further notice. The appeals we currently have on the page will all be resumed once Covid-19 has blown over and places are receiving items again, it would be a shame for knitters to be posting to places and for them to not be accepted. Your work is also going to be more needed than ever after Covid-19.

The items we supply to hospitals & baby banks are for some of the most vulnerable little people, and their safety is vital. It is safe to keep knitting however, please store these items away until we open the appeals again. The virus cannot survive on items for long & they are all washed/sterilised on receipt so it is perfectly safe to keep knitting and store your makes.

If you aren’t sure what to make, either follow the appeals that are currently paused on our appeals page, ready for them opening, or stick to blankets and newborn cardigans as these are always needed.

Let’s see who can make the biggest knitting mountain!!

Our wool collection points will also remain open, so anyone who is isolating and wishes to take an outside walk to our trunks, these will remain stocked with wool.
